The Lightfoot Band is the original band members that recorded the many memorable hits and toured for decades with the late great Gordon Lightfoot.
Throughout their years together, the band toured internationally with Gordon – across Canada and the United States and to cities in the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, and more.
Join the band in concert for an authentic experience of The Songs of Gordon Lightfoot. These are the original musicians that recorded in the studio and performed on stage with Gordon for decades, not a tribute or clone band.
The band includes veterans Rick Haynes on bass, Barry Keane on drums and percussion, Mike Heffernan on keyboards, and Carter Lancaster on the lead guitar.
The Lightfoot Band is proud to introduce Andy Mauck as their lead vocalist. Playing a Martin D18/6string guitar and a Gibson B45/12string guitar, just like Gord did. Andy has been a student of Gord's craft as well as his personal friend for almost 50 years.
Together, they are now keeping Gordon’s music alive, playing the hits such as: Sundown, Carefree Highway, The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald, Beautiful, Early Morning Rain, as well as some deeper cuts, not heard live for decades.
Band members will relate some history and “stories of the road” and will be available to meet the audience after show by the merch table.
